Tasks Basics
Tasks are assignments given to a team member or one’s self. Tasks allow teams to collaborate even when they work different shifts. Tasks can be used to increase accountability in team members.
If you click into “Task” for the first time, it will default to your primary location’s team. If you click the drop-down menu to the top left of the page, you will be able to navigate to another team’s conversation hub
To see the task, click on “Task” under the Team Hub. Tasks are organized by teams. Click the task you want to view. You can make this task a priority or put the task on hold. The name of the task and its description can be changed by selecting these fields that are underlined with blue. Click the yellow “Actions” button to either complete the task, move the task to a new team, assign the task to a new member, or delete the task.
PRO TIP: Tasks will appear unfinished until they are marked complete, even if the due date has passed. To prevent a backlog of old tasks, they should be marked complete as soon as they’re finished.
